Wassup World? It’s Brey Quick, SkyedUP Creator, Artist-Producer Originator. High Point, NC. EASTSIDE! Same city as Fantasia. HP aka Ratchet City. I produced about 95% of the project and wrote my own lyrics, of course. A lot of People have the mp3s and music, now I’m working on some dope visuals to give the people the whole feel behind Brey Quick/SkyedUP. My last mix tape was released in 2009, so I had a good amount of time to live out these songs. Everything I write is usually from my perspective, what I have seen and breathed. You’re getting 100% real EVERYTIME from me. A lot of artists say that their work is 100 and all that, but look at Milli Vanilli. #Fiction. That’s the only way to FLY. Original. Authentic. Skyed.

I just recently put on heavy for my hometown by opening up for The Jet Life Tour in Greensboro NC.

Probably one of my most important shows to date. It was like my “Hello NC… I’m here now!” Party.

No nervous feeling involved, more READY. Feel me? I just went out and did my thing, the SkyedUP Way. They gave me 15 minutes to rock out which was A+. Usually artists get about 5-7 minutes to show out, but the promoters always show SkyedUP major love. Respect.

I got a chance to speak with Curren$y before the show at sound check. I wasn’t nervous because I’m a grown fucking man haha and I can tell Hot Spitta is chill as fuck. I just introduced myself and told him I would be opening up the show and like a real G he listened and showed interest. Even if he wasn’t giving a fuck, he still took time out and showed interest. That was some TRILL shit I can respect. Skyed. Salute to Jet Life.

I think the crowd was really fuckin with me because after my last song, I announced I had some free CD’s with my music and the crowd literally yelled and screamed for the CD’s. Got my shirt ripped and shit. That made me feel SO OFFICIAL. Plus I was already feeling real, on like 4 of them planes, poured up and all that. vitaminTHICK laced me with some new gear too, so I was G.O.O.D. Skyed.

It was crazy because it all went by so fast. I had my SkyedUP famila in the building, about 40 deep. A few on stage, a few in the crowd. Turned out real A+.

After the show, I got a lot of compliments. Even signed some autographs, kissed some babies, listened to some long ass stories (haha) and took some pictures. Dope all around.
