What’s on your current playlist?

Right now, I’ve been listening to J*Davey, MF Doom, Joey Bada$$, Nas, Fly Union and Duck Sauce.

Have any side hu$tles?

Besides spinning at nightclubs, I produce, and release monthly mixes and various mixtapes on Sound Cloud and Live Mixtapes.

Favorite album of all-time?

Nas’s Illmatic easily. Illmatic was the album truly brought me into not only hip-hop, but music as a whole. It opened up my eyes at a young age.

What DJ inspires you the most and why?

It’s really to just choose one DJ, but I would say The X-ecutioners and A-Trak. When I was 8, I use to watch the X-ecutioners in the DMC battles and it was just nothing short of amazing to me. The fact that they could take two records with the same track and remix it live. Now, the reason I also chose A-Trak is because he mastered how to balance being a battle DJ with being a mixer DJ. Most battle DJ’s are great turntablist, but not so great reading crowds. A-Trak implements a great mixing style with turntablism in all his sets.

Craziest DJ booth incident?

Some woman in the club was really intoxicated and tried to knock my macbook off my stand. Just know she didn’t win that battle.

Most requested song that you hate?

Usually any and everything anybody requests.

1st response in your head to a song requested?

To try to figure out if the request can match with the set I’m working on.

A DJ should NEVER….

Get a big ego from spinning at a packed party.
