Is Rihanna a Ride or Die Or just Ridin’ Dumb?
Ride or Die or Ridin’ Dumb?

We’re all familiar with the emotional rollercoaster relationship between Chris Brown and Rihanna. Their incident in 2009 was highly publicized and Chris took multiple punches from blogs, lost endorsements, and even the music industry. Their rekindled flame has provided job security for paparazzi and tabloids; especially recently when Rihanna was seen with Chris during his court appearance and tonight sitting next to each other canoodling at the Grammy’s. Now we know its February and love is in the air, but is she ride or die or ridin’ dumb? The ladies of JENESIS discuss the many elephants in the room.
TH: DUMB! I think they’re both getting themselves into something that will blow up on them. Chris’ career was finally back on track and I feel like Rihanna played that ex card. You know how we do ladies, that “I’m better than your next” attitude
JB: I get the whole notion of sticking by your man’s side through thick and thin, but if your man’s time is mostly spent in the courthouse or serving community service, that might be a sign to move forward fast…and this goes for any female.
MB: I understand Rihanna’s “I don’t give a fuck” attitude BUT she is sending the wrong message. Why would she put her career at risk and get back with a monster like Chris? She seems like a cool chick; you would think she would know her self-worth and want to move on to bigger and better things. I mean she’s fucking Rihanna!
CG: I honestly think this is all work of great PR on both ends. The public and media are being severely mind-fucked by these two. Rihanna and Chris know what it takes to keep us going and they will continue to be attention-whores, snapping pics, and cashing checks whether we judge them or not.
MB: If I were Ri I would not get involved with or support Chris’ legal troubles…media or not! After all she was one of them. Can you imagine what that looks like to the judge?
TH: If this is a publicity stunt, they both deserve Emmy’s because this is stunt of the decade. Lol And poor Karrueche, who was involuntarily placed in this highly publicized “love triangle.” #shoutout to a beautiful girl, stay focused and positive!
JB: I say have some more respect for yourself. Treat yourself to someone who has things going for him, or at least someone who WANTS to stay the hell out of trouble. Sheesh!
CG: Yeah, they might be young and “crazy in love” but they are putting on a show if you ask me. I know how it feels to not be able to let go of someone that you should but I don’t get that genuine “in love” vibe from them. All I see is another day at the office.
Ladies we want to know your thoughts. Has your opinion of Rihanna changed or is love in the air and she shouldn’t fight the feeling? Who’s career does this affect this most? Leave your comments and tweet us!
