JENESIS Year End: Favorite Producers

Two producers turned rappers, Hit-Boy & Chase N. Cashe, used their signature sounds to help others on production and have also jumped in familiar lanes. With Hit-Boy’s productions of “Niggas In Paris,” “Clique,” “Right Here” by Justin Bieber, “My God,” he’s a hot commodity with G.O.O.D. Music. Chase is no slouch having collaborated with Eminem, Drake, Lil Wayne, Pussy Cat Dolls, and more has found himself focusing more on his solo rap career. Follow Hit-Boy here: and Follow Chase here:

On a similar note to Hit-Boy, Travi$ Scott started garnering a lot of industry buzz due to his alignment with Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. Making an appearance on Cruel Summer, the young rapper/producer has been favored over here a bit before his upcomings. Follow Travi$ here:

Cardo has been on the rise since his early funk/gangsta soul production with Wiz Khalifa a few years back. Often working alongside TGOD crew member Sledgren, Cardo released his first project via Fool’s Gold called Everything I$ Gold which you can get here. Watch for Cardo to have a breakout year and kick open the rap door for himself also. Follow Cardo here:

You’ve heard the tag of “La Musica De Harry Fraud” a lot this year on a bunch of Smoke DZA and French Montana jams. Also with the announcement of a joint EP with Curren$y, Harry Fraud‘s distinct sound has caught on past the NYC area and best believe 2013 he’ll be getting more calls for new bangers. With his wide range array of artist worked with such as Lil B, A$AP Rocky, Soulja Boy, Mac Miller, and The Weeknd, Clams Casino has been moving on up since getting some good reports from Pitchfork. His eery work on “Freeze” with A$AP Rocky and Jim Jones, you’ll be sure to catch more joints on Rocky’s debut due in 2013 which will put Casino on a few boards as go to producers.  Follow Clams Casino here:
